Stirrup straps & keepers

These stirrup straps are thin, yet very strong. Made from granite biothane, they'll hold up longer than leather but don't create a bump under your leg. Even better when you run the buckle at the bottom and use the handy keeper to put the excess strap neatly out of the way.
The standard configuration Ghost stirrup straps are 1" granite biothane and can work with any stirrup style. These are the only Ghost stirrup straps that work with the English slip-on fenders.
If you prefer a webber style strap, check out the T-bar and Conway Straps.

Conway Stirrup Straps

These are also a webber style strap as there is a nylon loop at the top that goes through the stirrup strap ring and then the adjustment is made with a Conway buckle. There is an advantage over the T-bar straps because the T-bar doesn't fit through the slot of many english irons. But these do work best for people who run their stirrup straps under the flap as the stitched overlap of the nylon loop to the granite biothane strap can rub the outside of the flap.
Also best for less strenuous riding as the nylon loop can move sideways and put torque on the front or back of the stirrup ring if the rider's legs aren't in a shoulder-hip-heel alignment.
Best configuration is to have the Conway point away from the rider's leg which points it forward, also away from the horse, but there is a snug keeper to hold everything in place. For people who regularly change stirrup length for students or Ride&Tie partners, arrange the top layer of the strap on the post side of the Conway for easiest changes.

T-bar stirrup straps

For those who prefer a Webber style stirrup strap, Ghost has designed a T-bar stirrup strap. The top has a nylon loop that goes through the stirrup ring and there's a leather cover for the T-bar.
The hole in your stirrup needs to be 30mm x 10mm (1.25" x 0.25") minimum for the T-bar to fit through. Not recommended for jumping or hard use like endurance as the T has sharp edges and can wear the biothane for some riders - it's always important to check your strap holes for any type of strap or buckle! Check this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEKSsCCZ9KA.
Note: due to a worldwide shortage in T-bars, Ghost changed from the T-bar to a Conway and we found the Conway option to be superior in a couple ways. First it works with all stirrup styles and second, the overall strength of the setup is better for harder use riding. I still have T-bars, but personally prefer the Conways.

English slip-on fenders

If you sometimes want the protection of a fender and sometimes want the freedom of riding with only a stirrup strap between you and your horse, the slip-on fender is a great option to save money as well add great convenience. These fenders will work best with Ghost or other thin biothane stirrup straps, not thick leathers, nor the T-straps or Conway buckle stirrup straps. Standard length of the channel is 14" / 36cm. If you need longer, you can use stirrup strap keepers to hold the fenders higher, or order 2" / 5cm longer. If you're short, we can order 2" / 5cm shorter. I typically only have the standard size in stock.

Western Fenders

If you want the look of a western fender, Ghost makes 2 different options. If you need the ability to choose either the front or rear stirrup ring, then the single strap fender can be ordered for a 1" english stirrup top bar or a 2", or 2.5" top bar for endurance or western stirrups. For those who would like a little more stability for their lower leg, the 2-strap western fender uses both stirrup ring and can be ordered for a 2.5" top bar for an extra $10.
I stock the standard length (occasionally I have a short set) and can order the shorter and longer versions if you need. Standard is 41cm / 16" and they can be shorter or longer by 5cm / 2" measured on the fender, not including the straps. Functional range for the standard length is 19" - 23" from stirrup ring to stirrup top bar.

Stirrup Holders

Carry your saddle without stirrups banging into your shins! These nifty straps connect to the back dees and have a scissor snap so you can quickly secure your stirrups for saddling or carrying. The biothane version are made from beta biothane in the US. If you want to match your saddle material, choose the Ghost version and specify color/material in the comments - see https://badlandsequine.com/color-zones-and-materials - if needed. I keep some black Ghost ones in stock and I have a few in biothane colors from Moss Rock. If you want to get the biothane a bit faster, visit www.MossRockEndurance.com since I won't have them all the time.

Mini Fender

The Mini Fender covers Ghost stirrup straps to provide a wider strap to reduce pressure on the leg. The standard length should work for almost everyone, the exceptions would be if there happens to be a conflict with the bottom of the flap and the top of the fender. It's held in place by a velcro tab that wraps under the stirrup. The length option is a measurement of the main shaft of the fender only.

Zaldi Spanish stirrups

I discovered these stirrups on a riding vacation in Spain and had to order some for me and my friends. Some of my Ghost saddle customers have enjoyed them as well.
I always rode in the Easy Ride stirrups with a cushion and would have never thought these would be so comfortable, but no stress, lots of support and I've done 100 milers with them.
They're a lightweight fiber/plastic and work with a 1" stirrup strap and some (including Ghost) 1" fenders. I include Gorilla tread grip strips with them.
